Bleu is a native of Compton, CA who is a survivor who transformed her trauma into a powerful force for change. After spending close to three decades in prison, she found freedom through her blue ink pen: writing poetry, plays and rap to express herself while she helped others to find their voices through writing and spoken word. As a passionate advocate for women's rights and human empowerment, she taught incarcerated individuals to harness the healing power of poetry through her prison 'Poetry Cafe'. Since her release, Bleu Inkk has returned to prisons leading workshops challenging and changing mindsets from 'Weary to Worthy', demonstrating how individuals can find themselves suitable. Her journey has taken her across the country. Bleu is a Transformational Coach, Motivational Speaker, Storytelling Coach, Correctional Consultant and a graduate of Loyola Law School as an independent Forensic Gang Expert.
