A survivor from Compton who transformed her trauma into a powerful force for change. After spending nearly 28 years in prison, she found freedom in her writing using poetry, plays and rap to express herself and help others find their voices. As a passionate advocate for women's empowerment, she taught incarcerated women to harness the healing power of poetry. Since her release, Bleu Inkk has returned to prisons as a workshop leader challenging and changing the mindset of others.
